We’re Here! Cleaning Services – Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 1st, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a service with We’re Here! Cleaning Services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
2. Payment & Deposits
First-time clients: A $100 + GST non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance will be invoiced after the service is complete.
Returning clients: No deposit is required. You’ll receive an invoice after each visit.
All invoices are sent by email and payable by e-transfer (instructions are included on the invoice). Full payment is due within 24 hours of receiving your invoice.
3. Rescheduling Policy
We get it — things come up. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so we can adjust our calendar. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred new time.
Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as a cancellation (see below).
4. Cancellation Policy
We reserve your cleaning time just for you.

24+ hours’ notice: No cancellation fee. Your deposit (if applicable) can be transferred to your next booking.

Less than 24 hours’ notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount will be invoiced.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows: May be invoiced for the full booking amount.
Deposits are non-refundable.
5. What We Don’t Do
For safety, hygiene, and liability reasons, we do not offer the following:

Animal feces cleanup

Mold removal
-
Pest removal or infestations
-
Exterior spaces (garage, patio, balcony)

Crawl spaces
-
Full ceiling or wall washes
-
Biohazard cleanup (blood, bodily fluids, etc.)

High levels of trash or hoarding
-
Moving heavy furniture or fragile items
-
Closet cleaning (except during move-in/out)

Cat litter boxes
-
Insects, rodents, or rodent droppings
-
Inside of washers, dryers, or dishwashers
-
Vacuuming pet-soiled carpets with our equipment
-
Dishes (washing, loading, or putting away)
-
Diaper genies or diaper pails
-
Light bulbs or delicate glass fixtures
-
Areas requiring more than a 3-step ladder
-
Blind dusting (results not guaranteed)

Carpet or grout cleaning (quoted separately)

High or hard-to-reach areas not accessible with an extension duster
6. Commercial Cleaning Services
Contracts:
Commercial cleaning services are governed by a separate contract outlining service frequency, scope, and payment terms.
Quality Assurance:
We perform regular inspections and welcome feedback to maintain high standards.
Subcontractors:
We may work with subcontractors, all of whom are fully insured and vetted. We remain responsible for the quality of their work.
7. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service in any situation that is unsafe, unsanitary, or unsuitable — including hazardous conditions or aggressive pets.
8. Changes to Terms of Service
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Privacy & Data
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will never be shared without your consent, unless required by law.
